HJS guides people on anti-superstitions Bill in New Mumbai

Navi Mumbai: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) guided people from Kharghar on the proposed anti-superstitions Act which is aiming at attacking faith of Hindu Dharma. In a program organized to celebrate ‘Sriram Navami’, ‘Sai Palakhi’ was arranged in the Spaghetti Society at Kharghar. On this occasion, Mr. Rajan Bhurke of HJS explained the perils of this Act in detail citing examples.  People who listened to this guidance said that they were not aware of these things and were quite shocked.

Other activities of HJS and various campaigns undertaken by it like drive against taking over management of temples by the Government and against M F Husain were explained in brief and an appeal was made to people to join these campaigns. The program was attended by about 150 devout Hindus. Mr. Shridhar Thakur, Mr. Mansingh, Mr. Shekhar Gudpalli and Sanjay Patel were present on the occasion. Mrs. Yogita Kadu, the President of Sai Samiti extended valuable help.

2. A program of devotional songs on Sriram, Srikrushna and Sai Baba was held on behalf of Sai Samiti.
