Drive by HJS and Sanatan Sanstha !
Work-shop held with the purpose of making Hindus aware of bravery existing in them !
Mumbai : On the occasion of birthday celebrations of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Jayant Athavale, the Founder of Sanatan Sanstha and inspiration behind Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), ‘Shaurya-jagaran (awakening of valour)’ work-shop was organized at Jogeshwari (East) for devout young men and women. On 1st May, this work-shop was conducted at Ganesh Maidan in Jogeshwari (East); besides holding exhibition of boards on life history of revolutionaries. Spontaneous response was received for the exhibition. The work-shop was started with lighting of lamp by Shri. Shrirang (Baba) Sawant, Dy. ‘Shakha’-chief of Shiv Sena; followed with guidance on various topics such as ‘Self-defence training – Need of the hour’, purpose of holding work-shop on ‘Shaurya-jagaran’, need for ‘shaurya-jagaran’ amongst Hindus, views of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale on establishing righteous Hindu Rashtra etc. Demos were staged by members of self-defence training class held by HJS during the latter half of the work-shop, on self-defence using sticks, chains, karate etc. 39 people including 30 youth members attended the work-shop. During the group-discussions held as part of the work-shop, it was felt by all the participants that self-defence should be learnt not as hobby but as the need.
Responses
Shri. Viraj Karwarkar, a devout Hindu from Goregaon showed interest in organizing ‘Shaurya-jagaran’ work-shop at Goregaon and asked for starting training class on every Sunday at 6.00 p.m.
Special assistance
1. Local devout Hindus, Shri. Shrirang Sawant, Shri. Mangesh Kanade, Shri. Mangesh Shinde and Shri. Akshay Ghadage took initiative in making preparations for the work-shop.
2. ‘Omshankar Kreeda Mandal’ extended valuable assistance in holding the work-shop.
Highlights
1. ‘Swarajya Maratha Dhol Tasha’ squad played drums before start of the work-shop which created conducive atmosphere.
2. Every participant of the work-shop listened to guidance with full attention, till end.
