Regional Hindu Convention for Ratnagiri – Sindhu-durga districts
Ratnagiri : Many Saints have warned about the forthcoming period of crisis. This period is now just round the corner. Many Saints, astrologers and ‘naadi-patti’ readers have said time and again that natural calamities like storm, tsunami, earthquake, deluge etc could strike, leading to huge loss of human life. Even then, God always protects His devotees; therefore, be always in ‘sadhana’, rather than getting scared of the period of crisis, was the advice given by Sadguru Satyawan Kadam, the 5th Sadguru of Sanatan Sanstha while addressing the participants of ‘One-day’ regional Hindu Convention organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Ratnagiri-Sindhu-durga districts, at Amber Hall near T.R.P in the city.
H.B.P. Sakharam Jadhav from Khed Taluka Warkari Sanghatana and Shri. Manoj Khadye, Coordinator of HJS for Konkan, western Maharashtra and Gujarat State shared the dais with him.
Sadguru Satyawan Kadam said further, “Worldly facilities available now will not be available during period of crisis; therefore, at physical level, it is necessary to learn cooking food on stove; grow medicinal plants near house, first-aid etc. At mental level, one should be ready to bear separation from family members. In case of having unnecessary fear, study own mind and situation; be in ‘sakshi-bhav’ instead of being sentimental. Besides this, preparations at spiritual level are the most important which include praying to God, recite ‘stotras’, chanting etc so that it would create protective shield of divine energy around us. Efforts should also be made for removal of personality defects and ego.”
Shri. Manoj Khadye explained the purpose of holding such Convention while Shri. Paresh Gujarathi and Shri. Prakash Kondaskar did compeering of the program. 67 devout Hindus attended the Convention from Ratnagiri and Sindhu-durga districts.
