Nandurbar : Different drives were undertaken through ‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Abhiyan’ on the occasion of birthday celebrations of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale.
Temple cleaning
On 5th May, Shri Bhavanimata Mandir and Shriram Mandir were cleaned at Vavad, collective oath was taken for establishing Hindu Rashtra and special prayers were also offered. 28 devout Hindus participated in these drives viz. Shri. Rakesh Koli, Shri. Gopal Rajput, Shri. Pankaj Rajput, Shri. Tejas Rajput, Shri. Jitendra Marathe and Shri. Dadu Rajput etc.
Cleaning of memorial
On 12th May, memorial of Netaji Subhashchandra Bose was cleaned by 2 seekers and 3 devout Hindus.
‘Shaurya-jagaran’ work-shop
‘Shaurya-jagaran’ work-shops were conducted in Zilha Parishad School, Aste on 14th May; at Town Council School No. 4 ground in Veer Savarkar Nagar and at Maruti Mandir Maidan on 16th May. Harshad Khanavilkar and Dr. Narendra Patil explained the need for ‘Shaurya-jagaran (awakening valour)’ to participants. Devout Hindus viz. Shri. Akash Gavit, Shri. Jitendra Marathe and Shri. Hiralal Patil were also present on the occasion.
Devout Hindus presenting demo of karate during the work-shop on ‘Shaurya-jagaran’ at AsteDemo on use of ‘lathi-kathi’, ‘nan-chaku (knife)’, karate etc were staged during the work-shop and participants were also asked to do some of them.
