Santacruz (East), Mumbai : Hindus seem to have developed defeatism owing to lack of ‘Shaurya-jagaran’, creating problem for their very existence. It has now become necessary to exhibit our valour; show how brave warriors we are. Only brave people rule the world. Self -defence training is therefore, necessary for creating valour in us, stated Sou. Janhavi Bhadirke, from ‘Ranaragini’ Division of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). On 10th May, ‘Shaurya-jagaran’ drive was undertaken at ‘Jai Hanuman Seva Mandal (Mandal)’, Dhobi-ghat Vakola Bridge. Activists of HJS staged demo on self-defence. Kum. Ujjwala Thopkar, a devout Hindu took initiative in organizing this program. 30 devout Hindus were present including Shri. Nilesh Kadam, President of ‘Mandal’.
On 11th May, similar drive was undertaken at Parkar Chawl, Datta Mandir Marg, Vakola Pipe Line where Shri. Sandip Gawandi of HJS gave guidance to 12 devout Hindus. Kum. Neelakshi, daughter of Shri. Satish Parkar, a reader of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ had organized this program by bringing together local youth.
