Sambhajinagar : On the occasion of 77th birthday of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Jayant Athavale, various drives were undertaken in the district as part of ‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Abhiyan’ such as cleaning of temples; offering special prayers to God; conducting lectures on subjects related to spiritual practice (sadhana) etc. at different places.
Temple-cleaning and offering special prayers
Special prayers were offered in 22 temples of Sambhajinagar viz. ‘Dakshinmukhi Maruti Mandir’; Shri Renukamata Mandir, Shri. Datta Mandir, Shri Bhavanidevi Mandir, Swanand Ganapati Mandir, Shri Siddhivinayak Ganesh Mandir, Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir and 10 temples were cleaned. Prayers were offered for long, healthy life of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale and for establishing Hindu Rashtra, without further delay.
Lectures on ‘sadhana’
Lectures were conducted on topics of ‘Sadhana’ and other related subjects at 21 places in Sambhajinagar district by Sou. Rajashree Kulkarni, Sou. Madhuri Kulkarni, Sou. Keerti Nagpurkar, Sou. Sulabha Suradkar etc.
Cleaning of monuments
On 13th May, memorial of ‘Punya-shloka’ Ahilyabai Holkar at Bansilal Nagar was cleaned and oath was taken by all participants for establishing Hindu Rashtra. 23 devout Hindu activists were present on the occasion.
Highlights
1. Shri. Vijay Waghchaure, city-President of Shiv Sena learnt and lauded various activities undertaken by Sanatan and HJS. He made an appeal that maximum number of Hindus should join such drives.
2. One college student showed interest in joining HJS activities after learning about the same.
