HJS participates in ‘Gudhi Padva’ celebrations of Maharashtrians in Gujarat

Karnavati (Ahmedabad, Gujarat): Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) participated in the ‘Gudhi Padava’ celebration of the Maharashtrian community in Bhadra area. They were invited by Mr. Ganesh Kshatri, the joint secretary.

The program began with hoisting of ‘Gudhi’ by Mr. Satish Mahajan, the President and ‘puja’ was performed by chanting the mantra of ‘Brahmadhvajay Namah’. Mr. Jamadar of HJS explained the significance of ‘Gudhi Padava’ followed with Mrs. Ashlesha Deshpande, the Editor of ‘Samajpatrika’ also explaining about the festival. Few ‘jidnyasus’ were impressed with the information given on the occasion and placed order for special ‘Gudhi Padava’ issue of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’.  The program ended with exchange of New Year greetings and distribution of ‘Prasad’. Representatives of news channels were present to record the event.

Highlight : Mr. Bahadkar wanted to know more about the activities of HJS and extended invitation to have discussions on relevant matters.
