Gadchiroli (Maharashtra): Furor is building up against the proposed anti-superstitions Bill recently approved by the State Legislature in a meeting. Activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held demonstrations to express protest against the said Bill and submitted a representation to the Government.
Mr. Ramesh Bhurse of BJP said, “Hindu Dharma and culture are so great that they can guide the whole world. Swami Vivekananda had introduced it to the world at that time. The secular Government is, however, passing useless Acts for appeasing few persons so as to keep Hindus away from ‘Dharmacharan’. These politicians are not ready to talk about other religions.” More than 100 devout Hindus signed the representation which was later submitted to the District Collector.
