Issue of proposed Anti-superstitions Bill : Govt. planning to present the Bill in monsoon session after carrying out changes

Mumbai: Revised anti-superstitions Bill can be put up in the coming monsoon session for approval after removing the word ‘Manasik’ from the controversial anti-Dharma Bill. (O Hindus, forget your post, party, organizations etc. and come together with all your strength for fighting against the Bill which attacks seats of worship of Hindus. Remember that once this Bill is passed, it will stop you from performing ‘puja’ and following other customs and traditions leading to eliminate your faith in God ! – Editor SP)

There was a provision in this Bill to take action against such religious functions that will cause ‘mental, physical and financial’ loss; but the Minister for development of minorities Mr. Nasim Khan brought it to the notice that the word ‘mental’ used in the Bill could create problems; therefore, this word has been deleted. The above news has been published by a newspaper. (Everything in this Bill is actually objectionable and can create disputes. Pro-Hindu organizations have been trying so hard to tell the same thing for so many days; but the anti-Hindu Government is ignoring them; but Nasim Khan is ‘Khan’; therefore, the point raised by him was immediately noted and changes were carried out ! – Editor SP)

There is a provision in this Bill to prohibit such religious ceremonies that would cause mental, physical and financial loss to a person; but Khan objected to the word ‘mental’ at the last moment. He said that somebody could claim about adverse effect on mind of a scene shown in *‘tabut’ passing by on the road or can claim after seeing ‘Kadaklakshmi’ whipping himself that the person has lost his mental balance. If the word ‘mental’ is used in the Bill, action will have to be taken on those taking out ‘tabut’ and ‘Kadaklakshmi’.  He said further, “If certain religious ceremony causes physical or financial loss, such loss can be verified with proofs; but as of today, there is no provision to measure ‘mental’ loss; therefore, the word ‘mental’ can be misused by people to harass someone. (As it is not possible to measure ‘mental’ loss; it is not possible to even measure the loss of faith of Hindus caused by this Bill; but the secular Government would not realize this ! – Editor SP) This was agreed by the Chief Minister as well as other ministers and the necessary changes were made in the Bill. It will be put up for approval in the forthcoming monsoon session. (O Hindus, vote bank of minority is most valuable for the Government because you are not united. Show this Government, that does not care about your religious sentiments, what your unity can achieve and oppose this Bill with all your might ! – Editor SP)
