Mahad (Maharashtra): Mr. Suresh Purohit and Raju Patane of Hindu Janjagaruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation to Shiv Sena MLA Mr. Bharatsheth Gogavale against the proposed anti-superstitions Act which aims at attacking Hindu Dharma and customs and traditions followed by Hindus. Mr. Gogavale, who contested the election from Mahad-Poladpur Constituency, was handed over the representation at his residence. He was explained that passing of this Act would impose restriction on Hindus from performing their religious rituals. Mr. Gogavale said that Shiv Sena would oppose the Bill if presented in the session.
