O Hindus, let us offer gratitude to the God for this success !
Mumbai: Meenaz Kasam of ‘Art Invest India’ from Pune had organized an ‘on line’ exhibition of anti-Hindu Husain’s work on his website. Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, the district coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts immediately called Mr. Kasam when he learnt about the same and registered his protest; but Kasam behaved very impertinently with him. (Fanatic Muslims support anti-Hindu M F Husain for denigrating Hindu Deities ! The secular rulers do not dare to take action against Muslims; therefore, Muslims can dare to ignore protests made by Hindus in a lawful manner. We need to elect patriotic and righteous rulers for bringing about a change in this situation ! – Editor SP) Later, Kasam received many protesting emails from Hindus when he verbally informed that such exhibition would not be held.
Yesterday, Mr. Vatkar called up Mr. Kasam and tried to explain to Mr. Kasam, “M F Husian has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus by drawing nude paintings of Hindu Deities. It is, therefore, opinion of Hindus that he should not be glorified in any manner by holding exhibition of his art-work. Will you hold an exhibition of the cartoonist from Denmark who had drawn caricature of Prophet Mohammad? We request you to not hold such exhibition.” Mr. Kasam got angry and he said, “I have not put up the paintings which denigrate Deities. I am a secular person. I am against fanatic Muslims.” (Being secular or being against fanatic Muslims, does not allow anyone to hurt religious sentiments of Hindus. The secular rulers have so far never bothered about sentiments of Hindus and therefore, Hindus have to listen to such answers ! – Editor SP) Holding exhibitions is my means of earning. Are you going to give me money if I don’t hold exhibitions?” Mr. Vatkar said, “You can hold exhibitions of other artists to earn your living. You should remove the paintings rather than hurting religious sentiments of Hindus.” Mr. Kasam got irritated and said, “Are you threatening me? I will lodge a complaint against you with the police.” (Complaint should be lodged against Kasam for his misdeeds; but he is only threatening to register complaint with the police ! – Editor SP) Mr. Vatkar said, “I am only creating awareness in you. I do not have to threaten anybody; in fact, we will only lodge a complaint against you with the police. If you want, we can discuss this matter further.” On this Mr. Kasam took down Mr. Vatkar’s full name and contact number for registering complaint against him. Mr. Vatkar sent him email of protest on behalf of HJS.
After this many devout Hindus also registered their protest against Kasam leading to Mr. Kasam replying to a protest letter written by Mr. Ramchandran from UAE informing him that he was withdrawing the exhibition. Mr. Varsha Thakar of HJS contacted Mr. Kasam in this context when she was given a verbal apology by him.

Namaskar,
I am in receipt of your email urging us to remove all paintings by M F Husain that currently appear on our website.
In your email you have claimed that we are Anti-National and Anti-Hindu which is so far from the truth. It is totally wrong to call the undersigned names and Anti-National and Anti-Hindu. The undersigned has always stood for secularism and has and will continue to respect all castes, creeds and religions and is more Nationalistic than most people who claim to be so.
That I am proud to be first an Indian and then a Maharashtrian is a fact that no one who knows me can and will dispute. That I have strong nationalistic values and respect Hindus and Hindu Gods equally is also a facet that I am proud of and in our formative years the Mahabharata & Ramayana formed a part of our education system. That we have staff who do Puja in our premises on a daily basis and that we celebrate Indian festivals with perhaps more fervor than other festivals, (we even partake of "Prasad") is an integral part of our upbringing and we follow several Hindu customs during festivals and even at other times.
So, Sir, for you to cast aspersions against us is not fair. We, however, are keeping your sentiments in view and removing all paintings by the Artist M F Husain and would wish to place on record here that it never was, is not at present and never will be our intention to hurt sentiments of any cast, creed and/or religion or religious views of any section of society and if this was done, rest assured it was inadvertent in nature and not intentional.
We trust that this matter now stands closed and I request you to acknowledge receipt of this email.
Regards,
Minaz Cassum

Protest Letter by a devout Hindu

I strongly urge you to withdraw all the paintings of M F Hussain immediately. Also specifically MFH-009 with immediate effect and apologise all the Hindus for posting and selling these pictures on your website.
M F Hussain has hurt the sentiments of millions of Hindus worldwide and his hiding in Qatar for saving his life. He is not a human being, a demon of the worst character worst than a dog.
If he is so much fond of creativity to draw nude pictures he can draw his mother daughter, sister wife or from his own religion and keep it for sale and let him say he is creative. Let him face the music after that.
Hope you will understand how much we are hurt and immediately withdraw these paintngs. Else we have to come dowwn to the streets and protest if you are unable to understand protesting peacefully through mails.
Regards
Manjunath R
