Protection and maintaining cows is the need of the hour and it is the duty of all Hindus ! – Satish Kocharekar, spokesperson, HJS
Mumbai : Bhagavan Shrikrushna and our Sages and Seers had maintained cows. Hindu kings like Raghu, who was the ancestor of Shriram, had given importance to protection of cows even more than protection of self; therefore, we should keep before us our Deities as ideals and it is the duty of every Hindu to protect and maintain cows. There is 60-70% adulteration of milk these days. 80% of the population will fall prey to deadly diseases like cancer by the year 2025 due to consumption of such adulterated milk, is the opinion registered by World Health Organization; therefore, protection of cows is important even for saving human life, stated Shri. Satish Kocharekar, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing a program of ‘Third Laghu Rudrabhishek and Bhajan Sandhya’ held by ‘Shree Maa Group Charitable Trust, Nara’ from Gujarat at Mulund (west). The program was attended by 600 people, besides Shri. Mitesh Palan of ‘Shri Rath Caterers’ who had organized a lecture by HJS. H has been quite impressed with activities of HJS. (Thanks to Shri. Shri. Kocharekar said further that deliberate attempts were made to eradicate faith in Hindus by denigrating their Deities, insulting Saints and through venomous propaganda like Hindu terrorism. Hindus have therefore, been drifting away from Dharma. Not only Hindu young girls but even married Hindu women are falling prey to love jihad. HJS has been therefore, trying to impart ‘Dharmashikshan’ to Hindus as solution to such problems.
