Patriotic organizations submit representation to President of Ratnagiri Businessmen’s Association against sale of plastic national flags
Ratnagiri : Representation was submitted by patriotic organizations to Shri. Uday Pethe, Ratnagiri Businessmen’s Association (RBA) on 9th August against sale of plastic national flags in the background of Independence Day.
Shri. Devendra Zapadekar of Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan, Shri. Arvind Baraskar-‘Shiva-charitra Kathakar’, Shri. Sagar Kadam, President of ‘Hindu Rashtra Sena’ for Ratnagiri, Shri. Tejas Salwi, Shri. Abhishek Kharat, Shri. Prasad Gawane, Sanatan Sanstha’s Shri. Shashikant Ghanekar, Shri. Vishnu Bagade and Shri. Sanjay Joshi of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were present on the occasion.
Small national flags are bought on 15th August and later, they are found discarded on roads, in trash or in gutters etc. It is insult of national flag. The Government has imposed ban on manufacture and sale of plastic national flags. Representation was therefore, submitted to Shri. Uday Pethe, the President of RBA on behalf of various patriotic organizations for prevention of sale and distribution of plastic national flags. He promised to issue circular to businessmen in this context.
