HJS drive for prevention of abuse of national flags

Nagpur : Despite imposition of ban on use of plastic, plastic national flags are used on 15th August i.e. Independence Day. The flags are found lying on the roads or in gutters or in trash on the same day from evening which is an abuse of national flags. Stringent action should therefore, be taken against sellers, openly selling plastic national flags, was the demand made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) through representation submitted to Dy. District Collector Shri. Deepak Kapase.

Similar representations were submitted to senior police inspectors of police stations at Pratapnagar, Nandanvan and Hudakeshwar. Devout Hindu women attending ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes conducted by HJS and activists of HJS were present on the occasion. Such representations were submitted to managements of various schools too.
