Ratnagiri (Maharashtra): ‘Gold ‘tila’ of Sri Bhairodevi, the ‘Gramdevata’ of Ratnagiri , weighing 2 grams, was stolen from the temple yesterday. Priest Chandrakant Gurav has lodged a complaint with the city police station. The in-charge of the police station, Police Inspector Rajiv Muthane is investigating the case. (Hindus must note that the incidents of theft in temples are increasing day by day. They should, therefore, make their own arrangement for protection of temples. – Editor SP)
