Sambhajinagar : Shri. Gorakh Mansingh Chavan, a competent and sincere police officer was conferred with President’s award. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) congratulated him and tied ‘rakhi’ for him on the occasion of ‘Raksha-bandhan’. He has been recently felicitated with President’s award. In his 15 years of service, he has always obtained A+ grade in his confidential reports. In the year 2017, he was awarded ‘Police Sanman’ medal. He has so far won 407 prizes.
He has worked very hard, day and night, for maintaining peace, law and communal harmony at Sambhajinagar, even at the cost of own family life. He was therefore, awarded President’s medal. He has given credit of his good work to God and the legacy he has inherited from his father belonging to ‘Warkari Sampradaya’. He has played an important role in maintaining peace during Ganesh festival and Navaratri festival.
