Register case of sedition against persons desecrating statue of Swatantryaveer Savarkar ! : Representation submitted to local administration by HJS
Pune : On 21st August, members of ‘National Students’ Union of India (NSUI)’ promoted by Savarkar-hater Congress party desecrated statue of Swatantryaveer Savarkar installed at Delhi University, by smearing it with black colour. Persons involved in such condemnable act should be stringently punished by filing cases of sedition against them; also ‘Bharat-Ratna’ award should be conferred on Swa. Savarkar so that nobody would insult him in future. Representation with these demands was submitted to Nayab Tehasildar Hemant Nikam on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) by devout Hindu activists including Shri. Vijay Gawade, President of ‘Gargi Seva Foundation’, Shri. Yogiraj Mandale; Shri. Parag Gokhale of HJS. Verses written by Swa. Savarkar at Andman, which were erased during Congress regime, should be displayed again by Union Government and huge memorial should be constructed at Marseilles, were some of the other demands made through representation.
