Shahirs should try to create awareness amongst Hindus through their art : Kiran Duse, HJS

Malkapur (Dist. Kolhapur) : It is quite commendable that ‘Shahirs’ have managed to preserve Indian culture through their art even in this adverse period. Today, we are celebrating Shrikrushna’s ‘Gokulashtami’ who had incarnated for revival of Dharma. Our nation has been facing problems such as Hindus’ condition in Kashmir and conversions; therefore, Shahirs should create awareness amongst Hindus towards these problems through the medium of their art. Soon, we shall be celebrating Ganesh festival. Hindus should be explained the importance of immersing Ganesh idols in flowing water as per science. The above appeal was made by Shri. Kiran Duse, District Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir of Yelur.

‘Om-Swarup Shiva-shakti Adhyatmik Bhedik Shahir Mandal’ had organized a competition on 23rd August on the occasion of Gokulashtami on big ‘Bhedik Shahiri’. Shri. Kiran Duse addressed the participants on this occasion. Shahir Shri. Dagadu Patil, the President and Shahir Shri. Ganapati Katkar, Vice President mainly participated in this program. Shri. Babandas Chaure from Paraner and Shri. Sakharam Khot attended the program as Chief Guest. More than 125 ‘Shahirs’ from various parts and others participated in this program.

Highlights

1. Handbills on ‘ideal manner of celebrating Ganesh festival’ were distributed at the venue.

2. Shri. Duse made an appeal to organize similar meetings on issues related to nation and Dharma at other places also to which the participants gave positive response.

3. HJS has been invited to this program continuously for 4 years. (Congratulations to ‘Om-swarup Shiva-shakti Adhyatmik Bhedik Shahir Mandal’ for inviting HJS since last 4 years as part of their Dharmajagruti mission ! Everyone should keep such ideal before them and participate in the activities related to protection of nation and Dharma ! – Editor)  

Participants responded with clapping hands when an appeal was made to Shahirs that they would not let any Shri Ganesh idol be donated during Ganesh festival in their areas.
