Karad : Essential commodities like rice, pulses, sugar, oil, flour, tea-powder, onion, soaps, udbattis and things required in kitchen were distributed on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to flood-affected people from Bhilawadi, with the help of few local alert citizens who showed where the aid was required to be sent and in taking it to the needy people. Shri. Madan Sawant, Shri. Anil Kadane of HJS and Shri. Lakshman Pawar, Shri. Ravi Ghadage etc of Sanatan Sanstha joined this task.
