Mumbai : Congress-promoted Students’ Union garlanded statue of Swatantryaveer Savarkar with shoes at Delhi which is an insult of not only Swa. Savarkar but also of all patriotic citizens. Such anti-national should be severely punished was the demand made by all patrons of Swa. Savarkar during demonstrations staged on 28th August outside Dadar railway station; condemning the above incident. It was also demanded by all devout Hindu activists and Savarkar-patrons that Akshaya Lakda, who mainly insulted the statue of Swa. Savarkar, should be immediately arrested.

Congress only harassed Swa. Savarkar during his life time; but even after his death, they tried to portray him as a traitor even after his death. Swa. Savarkar is, however, at apex position amongst revolutionaries like the topmost bead of rosary. Let Congress make any attempts, they cannot remove Savarkar from hearts of patriotic citizens of this country.
Shri. Prabhakar Bhosale from ‘Shri Shivakarya Pratishthan’, Vikhroli; Shri. Kailas Jadhav, Shri. Prakash Sawant, Shri. Daivendra Warekar of ‘Hindu Rashtra Sena’, Shri. Dilip Mehendale, Mumbai Executive of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’ and Shri. Arun Mali, Maharashtra Regional Coordinator of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’ also addressed the demonstrators. Members and office bearers of BJP, RSS, ‘Shri Hindavi Swarajya Sena’ and ‘Swatantryaveer Rashtreeya Smarak Samiti’ along with patriotic citizens participated in demonstrations. Several people spontaneously signed the representation in support.
