Protest: Arrogant incense-sticks manufacturer denigrate Hindu Deities

Nashik (Maharashtra): ‘Sachde Perfumery Works’ a private company in Nashik has published the picture of  Sri Hanuman on its packet of incense sticks. After consuming all the incense sticks from the packet the packet have been found to be thrown on roads, in dustbins and in drainage trenches. This results in dishonouring the faith symbol of Hindus. Realising this, activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti met the owner of this company and appraised him about this; but he used boastful language while talking with the activists. (Producer who uses boastful language with activists of HJS who had gone to educate him is a heretic. Will he have used such language with other religious activists? If he had done so, it is not necessary to divulge what would have happened to him ! – Editor SP)

The HJS activists started educating the owner and requesting him to remove the picture of Sri Hanuman from the packets of incense sticks; stopping them in between he said, “There is nothing such as God. No one has seen God. Our parents are real Gods. Serve them. Donate food to the poor. They are real God. Go after what is real instead of wasting your time in these foolish matters, this will continue.” (Those who use pictures of God in products to fill their pockets and then say there is no God – there can be no better joke than this. HJS activists are already doing what the owner advised them to do; but preventing insult and abuse of deities who are the centres of faith of Hindus in also the righteous duty of Hindus – the owner should realise this ! – Editor SP) One of his products bears the picture of Panch-Mukhi Hanuman.  When shown this, he replied, “This is only a picture, not a God.” (Just because he has a mouth he is uttering rubbish ! – Editor SP)

Then activists of HJS said, “Just recently was the day of Sri Hanuman Jayanti. Crores of Hindus bowed before Sri Hanuman. As they have faith they can see God. As you say you do not have faith; then how do you have the picture of Sri Hanuman in your place of worship?” Hearing this, the owner was left speechless but then he again started in a boastful tone saying, “I publish pictures of deities on my products, no one can spoil anything about me. All my products bear the names of deities and their pictures. Not only this I also sell a brand of incense sticks called ‘Bharatvasi’ bearing the picture of Mahatma Gandhi and the picture is trampled upon after use. No one can do any harm to me.” (Will the government and police act on such a producer who abuses deities and national heroes ? – Editor SP)
