Spontaneous response by Hindu youth to workshop held by HJS at Thiruvannamalai 

1. ‘Pujya’ (Sou.) Uma Ravichandran and HJS activists with participants

Thiruvannamalai (Tamil Nadu) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) recently held a work-shop on spiritual science at Parvataraja Kulsanga Hall which received spontaneous response from devout Hindu youth. The work-shop was graced by Sanatan’s ‘Pujya’ (Sou.) Uma Ravichandran with her presence. Shri. G. Radhakrushnan, State President of Shiv Sena for Tamil Nadu extended help in organizing this work-shop.

‘Pujya’ (Sou.) Uma Ravichandran gave guidance on various matters such as ‘sattvika’ life style, spiritual science for drawing ‘rangoli’ and doing ‘namaskar’ with folded hands etc. Sou. Sugandhi Jaikumar of HJS explained importance of chanting names of ‘Kul-deveta’ and Deity ‘Datta’ so also reasons and effect of making prayers and paying gratitude.

Sou. Kalpana Balaji spoke about science of celebrating Diwali festival, Ganesh Chaturthi, New Year as per Hindu calendar and right way of celebrating birthdays. She also explained futility of celebrating various ‘Days’ as per western culture. She further explained reasons to avoid wearing clothes with pictures of Deities and our holy symbols like ‘Om’, ‘Swastik’ etc.

Highlights  

1. Collective chanting of names of ‘Kul-devata’ and Shri Datta was done by the participants.

2. Doubts raised by participants were clarified.

3. Sou. Jaikumar explained the concept of Divine Kingdom and made an appeal to participants for joining the mission of establishing Divine Kingdom.

4. Participants were also told about how to implement the process of removal of personality defects and ego.
