Madgaon : Awakening of ‘Kshatra-Tej’ within us means awakening of valour which is the need of the hour by remembering ‘Mahishasuramardini’ as the manifest form of ‘Kshatra-Tej’, stated Dr. Manoj Solanki, State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing a program held on the occasion of ‘Dasara’ during ‘Durga-puja’ festival at Fatorda.
1. Dr. Manoj Solanki explained in detail, about Shriram’s victory over Ravana, ‘Shakti-pujan’ performed by Pandavas in ‘Dwapar Yuga’, importance of ‘Shami-pujan’, ‘Aparajita-pujan’, ‘Semollanghan’ and ‘Shastra-pujan (worshipping weapons)’ while explaining about the purpose of celebrating Dasara festival.
2. Dr. Solanki said further, “All Hindu women need to get trained in self-defence techniques considering atrocities presently meted out to them. Self-defence training is also the need of the hour. It is necessary to invoke latent spiritual strength in people by eradicating physical and mental weaknesses for self- protection, so also for protection of nation and Dharma.”
