Today morning #BanSunburnFestival became one of the top trends in India on Twitter. Sunburn is being held in Goa from 27 to 29 December. Many Hindus have already started protests against it and have urged Govt and administration to ban this event which promotes vulgarity, obscenity, drugs and immorality. Organisers of Sunburn have also owe crores of rupees to Govts in Goa and Maharashtra. They also do not follow sound pollution norms.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has urged Hon. Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant and Tourism Minister Shri. Manohar Ajgaonkar to cancel all permissions given to Sunburn Festival.
Considering the promotion of drugs, immorality, violation of sound pollution norms during @SunburnFestival, we urge Hon. @goacm Shri @DrPramodPSawant ji, Hon Shri @BabuAjgaonkar ji to cancel all permissions given to Sunburn as it degrades the name of 'Goa' !#BanSunburnFestival pic.twitter.com/CMkc9jsY5W

Hon @Goacm Shri. @DrPramodPSawant ji & Hon Minister Shri. @BabuAjgaonkar ji, we also think that there is no need of programs like @SunburnFestival to promote tourism in Goa. Instead we can promote rich cultural heritage of Goa and its natural beauty !
