Obeisance to Rajmata Jijabai at Dhule and Songir

Dhule (Maharashtra) : Obeisance was paid to Rajmata Jijabai on the occasion of her Smrutidin (Death Anniversary) at Dhule city and Songir in the District. The function was organised jointly by Pacific Computer and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in Dhule city, at Maratha Mangal Karyalay . Mrs. Bharati Mali, Shivsena Ladies’ organiser in the city, Smt. Sumantai Chandak, a social worker and Mrs. Prachi Juvekar of HJS were on the dais. The function commenced with lighting the auspicious lamp at the hands of the speaker, followed by placing a garland on Jijau’s picture. While addressing the gathering Mrs. Prachi Juvekar compared the women in ancient and modern period and explained reasons behind them and the required remedies.
Mr. Nilesh Kate of Pacific Computer gave introduction of those present on the dais. Mr. Alok Raghuvanshi and Mr. Valmik Marathe gave valuable assistance to Mr. Kate in organising the function.

• Mrs. Bharati Mali appealed to the speaker to speak on the same subject in her region.
Songir – At Sri Durgadevi Mandir
Mrs. Prachi Juvekar expressed her views about ‘Ranaragini’ wing. She appealed to the ladies present there to become capable of fighting the problem like Atrocities on women etc. by getting trained in self-defence.
Highlights :
1. Mr.Shyam Bhandari, Mr. Bhushan Tambat, Mr. Deepak Joshi, Mr. Sumit Kasar, Mr. Parag Deshmukh (All attending the ‘Dharamashikshan’ Class) made propaganda about the function.
2. The ladies present on the occasion bought ‘Stree Jagruti Visheshank’ of Dainik ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ and appealed to start a ‘Dharamashikshan’ Class in their area.
