Guidance to farmer youth at Shirvade, Satara by ‘Dharmashakti Sena’

Shirvade (Dist. Satara, Maharashtra): Lecture organised on behalf of  ‘Dharmashakti Sena’, the wing for youth, of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Grampanchyat Hall at Shirvade,  got spontaneous response of the farmer youth. Information regarding the Government schemes related to farming, so also regarding Government grants was furnished in the lecture. 90 farmers were present for the lecture. Field Officer, Mr. Mukund Mhetre, gave guidance to the youth gathered there. The lecture began after lighting the auspicious lamp by Mr. Mukund Mhetre and Deputy Sarpanch Mr. Rajendra Borate.

While introducing the Mission of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’, Mr. Vaibhav Kshirsagar said, “In order to revive past glory of Bharat, to strengthen the Economy and the Social Order of the country, along with imparting Dharmashikashan,  ‘Dharmashakti Sena’,  a branch of the organisation Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has been established. This branch is going to organise lectures on Farming, Business, Career guidance, Saving schemes in every village of this State. Along with training in Self-defence, campaigns like keeping the temples, Forts, etc. clean are being undertaken by Sena.  

Take to collective farming through saving groups (Bachat Gat) ! – Mr. Mukund Mhetre, Field Officer

While addressing the farmer youth Mr. Mukund Mhetre said, “Use modern techniques of cultivation and preservation while cultivating and preserving the crops. So also to get advantage of the schemes regarding farming offered by the Government, collective farming to be undertaken by all through Bachat Gat. –Thibak sinchan method helps in saving water and electricity to a large extent. Government gives 50% grant for Thibak sinchan.

Israel farmers are ever ready to fight war though engaged in farming

Mr. Mhetre said further, “Looking to the adverse situation in our country, we must keep Israel’s ideal before us. Despite the climate of the country is unsuitable for farming, the youth in Israel made the country self sufficient by increasing their capability to produce more, irrespective of the adverse condition. This country is surrounded by enemies. So the farmer youth keep themselves ever prepared to join the war side by side while engaged in farming. Youth should be active keeping their ideal before. Youth will be well informed through ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ time and again.” Mr. Sarjerao Thorat, Sarpanch of Shirvade Grampanchayat, members of Grampanchayat, youth attending Dharmashikashan Varga were preset for the lecture.

Highlights :
1. Around 23 youth waited after the lecture to get more information from Mr. Mukund Mhetre and Mr. Vijay Bhalke
2. Many gave their mobile numbers to get SMS concerning the present situation in Rashtra and Dharma.
3. Many appealed to start similar campaigns in nearby villages.

Feedback :  Many opined that the campaign started by ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ side by side to Dharmashikashan was praise worthy. Many thanked the field officer for direct communication with the farmers.
