Hadapsar (Dist. Pune) : HJS had organized ‘Shaurya-jagaran (awakening valour)’ work-shop for youth, between 14th and 29th December 2019 in Siyaram Mandir at Kalepadal so that they become physically, mentally and spiritually able to join the activities related to protection of nation and Dharma. The work-shop was held in enthusiastic atmosphere.
Disaster management and techniques of self-defence and helping society were taught during the work-shop. Review of training imparted during 15 days was taken while concluding the work-shop. Every participant was very enthusiastic about the training. They learnt about the need of being alert all the time, need for increasing efforts at spiritual level etc. They also showed interest in attending training class every week. Shri. Rakesh Borase, a devout Hindu participant said that he would regularly devote time for joining various services (seva) like imparting training, ‘Dharmaprasar’ etc. Shri. Vikas Giri and Shri. Sarjerao Dhokare extended special help in organizing the work-shop.
Highlights
A short-play was prepared on ‘Self-defence – need of the hour’ by participants viz. Shri. Rakesh Borase and Shri. Sumit Sharma in very short time and it was staged during concluding session of the work-shop. The play was very effective.
Bhandup : On 29th December, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held work-shop on ‘Shaurya-jagaran (awakening valour)’ at Sarvajanik Ganshotsav Mandal of Sahyadrinagar. Shri. Sandip Gawandi of HJS explained the need for self-defence training and ‘Shaurya-jagaran’ and created awareness towards celebration of New Year on ‘Gudhi Padava’ instead of in the night of 31st December. Shri. Manjunath Pujari and Kum. Vaishali Bhandari presented various self-defence demos in a very simple way.
Highlights
1. Few participants spontaneously took part in self-defence demos after watching the demos. Participation of women was also noteworthy.
2. Participants showed interest in HJS conducting self-defence training class.
3. Shri. Virendra Tandel, President of ‘Sahyadrinagar Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal’ and Shri. Satish Gaonkar, its Secretary extended special help in holding the program.
