Sculptors disgrace damaged Ganesh Idols by dumping them in filth

Kolhapur (Maharashtra): Sculptors have disgraced the damaged Ganesh Idols by dumping them in filthy roadside next to Rajiv Gandhi Colony in Market Yard. Outraged Devout Hindus have warn to commence agitation; but police have assured them saying, ‘Immediate notices would be sent to the sculptors under section 149 and they would be warned by arranging a meeting with them within next in 2 days.’ After that the Devout Hindus took their agitation back. They immersed the damaged idols ritually in Panchaganga river . (Congratulations to the Devout Hindus for ritualistic immersion of the damaged  Ganesh idols! Devout Hindus arrived at the spot where 40 damaged Idols were dumped as soon as they came to know about it. Reaching there they shouted slogans, protesting against the sculptors for causing disgrace to Ganesh Idols. Soon after that Sub-Inspector, Vinay Jadhav and Hawaldar Suresh Pote, Nana Teli reached the place where agitators had assembled. Police took photographs of the damaged idols. Considering the anguish of the Devout Hindus, police assued to call a meeting with the sculptors. Devout Hindus collected the damaged idols in a tempo and immersed them in Panchganga river. Karveer Taluka Pramukh of Shivsena, Mr. Anil alias Raju Yadav appealed to the sculptors saying, ‘Do not disgrace Sri Ganesh by dumping anywhere the remains of the idol after completing the idol.’  Prant Vice President of Hindu Ekata Andolan, Mr. Dilip Bhivte, Mr. Baburao Patil, Mr. Shivaji Sase, Mr. Hindurao Shelke, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s  Mr. Madhukar Najhre, Mr. Shivanand Swami and other Devout Hindus were present in large numbers.
