Mumbai: Paying obeisance to Rajmata Jijabai on behalf of Dharmashakti Sena

Mumbai: Obeisance was paid to Rajmata Jijabai on her 337^th Death Anniversary on behalf of ‘Dharmashakti  Sena’ of youth, a branch of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Datta Mandir, Kewani Pada, Andheri (W), Shivsena Shakha, No. 217, 220 Tisra Kumbhar Wada, Girgaon and Senior citizens ‘Katta’ next to Police Station, Worli Koliwada by giving lectures based on the life of Jiajmata Jijabai. In order to pay obeisance to Rajmata Jijabai a signature campaign regarding ‘The picture of Shivaji Maharaj to be on the currency notes’, was undertaken jointly by Raje Swarajya Group and Dharmashakti Sena at Gulabsan Dairy, sector 15, Koparkhairane. 1456 Devout Hindus participated in the signature campaign. The lectures were given by Mrs. Vidya Kamerkar at Girgaon,  Ms. Anjali Karande at Worli, Ms. Jagruti Sawant at Andheri. They spoke on Jijabai’s inspirational mission to protect Dharma.

Girgaon – Mrs. Ugandhara Salekar, Shivena Mahaila Shakha Sanghatak and Ms. Ujjwala Pethkar, Shakhapramukh Mr. Surendra Nigudkar gave valuable assistance in organising the program of ‘Obeisance to Jijamata Jijabai’ at Girgaon.

Worli – Mrs. Reshma Nagvekar offered garland to the picture of Jijabai at Worli Koliwada in the beginning of the program. The program, at Andheri and Koparkhirane too got very good response from Devout Hindus.

Highlights

1. People were giving signatures even after the program got over.
2. Video shooting of the program was conducted by the channel ‘Drudhti’ at Navi Mumbai.

Mahad (Maharashtra): The Death Anniversary of Rajmata Jijabai was celebrated at Rajmata Jijabai Udyan. Obeisance was paid to her after putting garland over the picture of Jijabai. Mr. Suresh Purohit of Sanatan Sanstha, Mr. Suresh Pawar of Kokan Kada Mitra Mandal, Ms. Deepali Date, Ms. Surekha Deshmukh of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Suresh Kalgude, member of Raigad Jilha Parishad and Mr. Deepak Shinde representative of Sahyadri channel, were presenton the occasion.
