Soon after this, hashtag #BoycottAmazon started trending in the night and many users asked Amazon to remove products that hurt Hindu sentiments. Soon it became national top trend in India and reached 4th spot for some time. Because of protests by Hindus, it appears that Amazon has removed most of the product listed in the bottom part of this article. However, Amazon has not apologised for its repeated mistake and even 1 product is still available on its website.

Hindus call for boycotting Amazon for selling Ganesha Bathroom rugs and toilet mats
Amazon has been selling products that hurt religious sentiments of Hindus from last few years. After protests from Hindus, Amazon has removed some of these products. But again it has been revealed Amazon still continues such products, thereby ignoring sentiments of Hindus.
Previously, Amazon had also insulted India by selling wrong Indian map (in which J&K is missing) and Tricolor doormats. They were removed after protests by Indians and intervention of the then Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj. They are also using images of Buddha and Swarna Mandir on such mats, thereby hurting sentiments of Buddhists and Sikhs.
After protest by Sikh MLA M S Sirsa, Amazon has removed products hurting Sikh sentiments.
Once again, @amazon shows its recklessness towards Sikh sentiments and allows #Prunus to sell Toilet Mats with Sri Harmandir Sahib pic
This is deliberate & blasphemousAmazon must ban this seller & issue a global apology immed or Sikhs would boycott this shopping site completely pic.twitter.com/dHHa7nGjYW
