HJS organizes Pune-ites to take to the streets against ‘TempleTakeover Act’

Pune: The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has organised a massive rally in Pune city on 23rd November at 3 p.m. to protest against the proposed ‘Temple Takeover Act’ of the Maharashtra Government, said HJS Pune city Chief, Shri. Sunil Ghanvat at a press conference arranged recently. The rally will start at Sree Kasba Ganapati Mandir (the village diety of Pune city) by taking the blessings of Lord Ganesh. The HJS appeals to all Hindus to participate in this massive rally in large numbers.

To decide the further course of the campaign against this proposed Act, meetings will be held at Pimpri-Chinchwad and Simhagad road of Pune. In this regard, the activists intend to meet the Maharashtra Chief Minister shortly. Shri. Sunil Ghanvat further said that, if need be, mass demonstrations will be staged jointly by the Varkari Sect and the HJS at the Vidhan Bhavan at Nagpur during the forthcoming winter session of the State Legislature.
