Bhivandi (Maharashtra): Plastic National Flags are for sale everywhere on Independence Day and after the Flag hoisting ceremony they are found scattered on roads, gutters, in filthy places, thereby causing disrespect to the National Flag. So to stop this dishonour representations are given to Mr. Ange, Commissioner of Bhivandi Municipal Corporation, Mr. Dhomle, Tahsildar, Mr. Dahisankar, , Deputy Police Commissioner, Bhivandi, and  Mr. Yedke, Taluka Senior Inspector of Police, on behalf of Hindu janajagruti Samiti (HJS). The representation is attached with the circular of Maharashtra Government banning the plastic National Flags and a picture of the activists of the Samiti handing over more than 2500 Flags collected by them which were for sale in shops at Thane, last year despite the representation.

At the time of presenting the representation, Mr. Shyam Patil. Ex Sarpanch of Dhamangao, Mr. Gorakhnath Patil, Deputy Sarpanch, Mr. Ramesh Umrathkar, Pogao, Mr. Naresh Gulvi, Nimbavli, Mr. Anand Patil, Nandkargao and Mr. Abhijit Bhojane, Mrs. Manisha Kshirsagar, HJS were present.

Highlight : Mr. Yedke, Taluka Senior Inspector of Police praised the mission undertaken by the Samiti after being informed about it.
