Patriots oppose denigration of ‘Vande Mataram’ in ‘Gandhi to Hitler’ movie

• Proud Nationalists oppose the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ based on Rock Music in the film ‘Gandhi to Hitler’!
• Opposition to the film for we are Hindus ! – Spokesperson of the film

Mumbai: The film ‘Gandhi to Hitler’ is produced by ‘Amrapali Media Vision’. It is going to be released all over India on 29^th July. ‘Vande Mataram’ is presented in Rock Music. Hence the proud Nationalists have opposed it. The spokesperson of the film is of the opinion that since the film is produced by the Hindus, they are being opposed.

When Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, coordinator of Mumbai, Thane and Raigad, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) contacted the spokesperson of the film, he said, “A.R. Rehman had sung ‘Vande Mataram’ in ‘Rock’ style earlier; but no one had opposed it then. (To say, No one had opposed Rehman so ‘Do not oppose me now’, is like saying, so many thieves were not caught till now, so ignore my theft too ! – Editor SP)

We have produced the film to show our Bharatiya culture was so great compared to Hitler’s perversity in other words compared to the Western culture. At present the song ‘Vande Mataram’ is being forgotten and we are trying to revive the memory of the people. So we have translated it into Hindi and ‘Vande Mataram’ are the only two words retained in that Hindi song. If you carefully listen to the song you will realise that the words in the song are sung with great respect. So we feel that the opposition to us is only because we are Hindus.” Mr. Vatkar said, “The Samiti will take a stand after studying the song ‘Vande Mataram’ whether there is any ridiculing or not”.
