Pro-Hindus advocate creation of Hindu-Nation in Gurupournima function

Functions to celebrate Gurupournima were organized jointly by Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and HJS organized Hindu unification meets in the State. Speakers from Sanatan Sanstha, HJS and many eminent pro-Hindu activists supported formation of Hindu-Nation in their speeches. Given below are, in brief, views expressed by them.
 

Hindus need to unite for a strong India – Shri Prabhanjan Pathak, Patanjali Yoga

Once upon a time, we used to be very rich in all respects. Sage Vasishtha nurtured Shriram and Swami Samartha Ramdas enlightened Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj thus creating ideals before us about how a king should be. Present position of our country is very difficult. Hindus need to unite for a strong India. The above views were expressed by Shri. Prabhanjan Pathak of Patanjali Yogapeeth and a disciple of H. H. Baba Ramdev. He addressed the program held on behalf of Sanatan Sanstha and HJS to celebrate Gurupournima. The program was attended by 75 devout Hindus. Mrs. Varsha Thakar of HJS also addressed the gathering.
 

It is very sad that foreigners have studied our holy scriptures more than our own people – H. B. P. Eknath Maharaj Sadgir

Thane – One can progress rapidly if one acquires knowledge by studying our holy scriptures and follow ‘Dharmacharan’ as prescribed in the scriptures; but our scriptures have been studied more by foreigners than our own people. It is unfortunate for us that one has to go to Germany to appear in the final examination of Sanskrut, said H. B. P. Eknath Maharaj Sadgir.
 

Parents are responsible for the young generation following western culture ! – Dr. Satchidananda Shvade

Guru-disciple tradition is followed only in India in the world. We have fallen short in inculcating moral values in our next generation and therefore, ‘Sanskar Kendras’ have to be run outside the house. The first Guru of a child is his mother. She inculcates moral values even when the child is in her womb. Remember that the parents are only responsible for today’s generation blindly following western culture and therefore, we must educate our child right from early age in imbibing good values and following ‘Dharmacharan’. Hindus have never faced such bad time ! – Shri. Vivek Mehetre, famous cartoonist

The population of youth in India is highest in the world; but this youth has been drawn under the influence of western culture. They have lot of time to enjoy life; but no time for the nation. If a Muslim kidnaps a Hindu girl today, the Government will do nothing against such Muslim as it does not really exist. Hindus have never faced such bad times because Hindus lack ‘Dharmashikshan’. Our Hindustan has been stricken with many problems but only social worker Shri. Anna Hazare, H. H. Baba Ramdev and H. H. Dr. Jayant Athavale are fighting to free the Nation from these problems, said the famous cartoonist Vivek Mehetre while addressing the Hindu unification meet organized by HJS on the occasion of Gurupournima at Koli community hall in Worli. The program was attended by 190 devout Hindus.

Mrs. Janhavi Bhadirke of HJS also addressed the participants.
 

Rulers are forcing us to forget that this is a Hindu-Nation ! – R. D. Panashikar, ex-editor, Saptahik Vivek

Hindu Dharma is the oldest and this Nation belongs to Hindus. Till we got independence, the Nation was known as Hindustan; but the Government started referring to this Nation as India and Bharat. The Rulers are thus forcing people to forget that it is a Hindu-Nation, stated Shri. R. D. Panashikar, the former Editor of weekly periodical called ‘Vivek’. He addressed the Hindu unification meet organized by HJS at Swaminarayan Mandir Hall, Sainagar, Vasai (W) on the occasion of Gurupournima. The program was attended by 300 devout Hindus. Shri. Sandip Gawandi of HJS also addressed the gathering.
 

HJS has been doing a great job of protection of temples, gou-mata and sisters ! – Mr. Abhay Jagatap, VHP

Hindus are still surviving because of their temples, gou-mata (cows worshipped as mother) and their mothers and sisters for the past hundreds of years and therefore, anti-Hindus tried and are trying to destroy them first. HJS has undertaken the great task of protection of all of them. We have very little time. Everyone should take initiative in spreading the activities of HJS to increase its strength and to develop patriotism and faith in our Dharma. The above appeal was made by Shri. Abhay Jagatap, a member of VHP’s district action committee and the President of Sahakar Bharati, Mumbai. The program was held at Navjeevan School, Lokmanya nagar on the occasion of Gurupournima and was attended by 220 devout Hindus.

Mr. Satish Sonar of HJS also addressed the audience. Mr. Shishir Shinde, MNS MLA, zonal-chief Mr. Yogesh Sawant, Vice – president Mr. Prashant Kadam, Mr. Sawant, Director of Navjeevan Vidyamandir School, Mr. Balkrushna Bane Sheth, Director Parag Vidyalay, Mr. Ashok Patil, deputy area-chief of Shiv Sena, Mrs. Meenakshitai Patil, municipal councilor of Shiv Sena etc. were other dignitaries present for the program.
 

Hindus must unite for formation of Hindu-Nation ! – Mrs. Manali Naik, HJS

Hindus should unite for preventing terrorists’ attacks and protection of Nation and Dharma. The laws proposed to be passed by the Government for eradication of superstitions and taking over management of temples etc. are, in fact, attempts to eliminate Hindu Dharma. Terrorism is rampant all over the country but the Government is not doing anything. The Government is afraid of losing Muslim votes and does not want to take action against terrorism like other Nations as USA, Israel etc. It has therefore, become necessary to elect patriotic and devout persons to rule this country and bring a change in the present situation. It is also necessary to impart ‘Dharmashikshan’ to all Hindus. The above views were expressed by Mrs. Manali Naik of HJS. She was speaking in the Hindu unification meet arranged by HJS at Shetkari Samaj Hall, Sector 5, Koparkhairane. The program was attended by 200 devout Hindus.
 

The true ‘Guru-dakshina’ will be to improve present condition of Nation and Dharma ! – Dr. Uday Dhuri, HJS

In Hindu-Nation, Hindus are falling prey to secularism and they feel nothing about it because they have become so engrossed in selfish needs that they do not feel that they should fight back the attacks on Dharma. The present position of Nation and Dharma is so bad and bringing improvement in this situation will be true ‘Guru-dakshina’, stated Dr. Uday Dhuri of HJS while addressing the gathering at Gurupournima function held jointly by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS at Devadiga Bhavan, Sector 12, Nerul (W). The program was conducted in Hindi. About 140 devout Hindus attended the program.

Ravana, the King of prosperous Lanka, abducted Seetamai and challenged Shriram; therefore, Shriram slew Ravana. The present Government is harassing Saints like Yoga-rhushi Baba Ramdev. Sonia, who has issued such orders, is going to meet the same fate is the ultimate truth. It will not matter if our life is curtailed to increase life of Saints like H. H. Baba Ramdev, H. H. Asaram Bapu, H. H. Dr. Jayant Athavale etc. ; but all Saints should live long life. This is the prayer I make at God’s feet today on the day of Gurupournima, said H. B. P. Jalakekkar Maharaj.
 

To remain within the parameters of Dharma and following ‘Dharmacharan’ is the need of the hour ! – Mr. Shukla

Our Hindu Dharma is eternal; therefore, Dharma does not need us; but it is our need to remain within the parameters of Dharma and follow Dharmacharan for our progress. Everyone should therefore, follow Dharmacharan as prescribed by Dharma as it is the need of the hour, stated Shri. Shukla.

Young generation is the future of this country; but unfortunately, it is caught in the tentacles of addictions and western culture. Their parents do not point out children’s mistakes to them. Dhrutarashtra and Gandhari did not tell Duryodhana about his mistakes and therefore, he became unrighteous. Guru takes disciple to the path of light from darkness. Guru is the ocean imparting knowledge to his disciple. A disciple should immerse himself in this ocean and achieve progress. If the disciple chants ‘Guru-mantra’ all the time, he acquires God’s grace. Every Hindu should believe in Dharma and follow ‘Dharmacharan’, said H. B. P. Subhash Maharaj.

The present condition of Nation and Dharma is very pathetic. There is corruption, oppression, terrorists’ attacks leading to moral degeneration. In such situation, the only organization working for protection of Dharma and Hindu unity is Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. I consider myself fortunate that I got an opportunity to participate in the activities of HJS, said advocate Jayant Upadhyay.

One needs to wake up from slumber if our culture is to be preserved ! – Mr.  Milind Mule

We were in bondage for 1300 years. The British looted wealth and intellectual wealth of Hindus in the form of our scriptures from this country. They followed the policy of ‘Divide and Rule’. Today’s rulers have adopted the same policy but we are indifferent. It is necessary to wake up from our lethargic slumber if our culture is to be preserved.
