Nashik (Maharashtra): Monthly meeting of Zilha Parishad was held in the cabin of Chairman of Education Department. Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan Sanstha were invited to attend the meeting. The members explained how paper and plastic National flags lead to their insult and made a demand to impose ban on sale of National Flags made of plastic and paper. On the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August, sale of plastic and paper National Flags is quite high. After flag-hoisting, however, the same flags are found on the roads and in gutters which is an insult of our National Flag.
Mr. Dilip Shankarrao Phete, the Chairman of Zilha Parishad’s Education Department had invited members of HJS and Sanatan Sanstha for monthly meetings. Mr. Rahul Patil of Sanatan Sanstha explained how insult of National Flag occurs on 15th August and 26th January. He also said awareness should be created among school children about the same through guidance. The education officers attending the meeting assured to explain the issue in every school. Mr. Sanjay Bhosale and Swapnil Devalalikar of HJS attended the meeting.
