Representation submitted to Tehsildar, Mangaon
Mangaon (Maharashtra): Plastic flags are used on Independence Day which are found strewn all over the roads and in the gutter on the following day leading to their insult.

Besides, use of plastic is not advisable from environmental point of view; therefore, some solution needs to be found urgently, was the demand made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti through a representation submitted to the Tehsildar at Mangaon.
The representation was accepted by Mr. S. G. Jadhav, Tehsildar. Mr. Ajit Tarlekar, area-chief of Shiv Sena and Mr. Vishwas Mauskar, Shrikant Joshi and Ganesh Jadhav were present on the occasion.
