Sangola (Maharashtra): The Government has decided to present the old Anti-Superstitions Act of 2005 under a new misleading name as ‘Maharashtra Narbali, va Anya Amanaviya Anishta va Aghori Pratha va Jadutona yana Pratibandh va tyanche Samool Ucchatan Adhiniyam 2011 (Ban on human sacrifice, and other inhuman, improper and dreadful customs and black magic and their eradication Act 2011)’ in the current monsoon session. Some of the clauses in this Act will result in treating many religious rituals of Hindus as un-bailable offence; besides, following ‘Dharmacharan’ and ‘Dharmaprasar’ will also come under the purview of this Act.
