Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra): Recently, a social conference of followers of all religions and Sects was organized here. Dignitaries attending the conference expressed their views. The speciality of the conference was that it was unanimously resolved that the Government should not present the Anti-Superstitions Bill in Legislative Assembly.
H. B. P. Bandatatya Karadkar, H. B. P. Navnath Maharaj Andhale, H. B. P. Rameshwar Shastri, H. B. P. Dr. Ramkrushnadas Lahavitkar, H. B. P. Prakash Maharaj Javanjal on behalf of Warakari Sect, Dr. Shaikh Iqbal Minne and Sayyad Parnerkar on behalf of Muslim community, Bhikhhu Dnyanjyoti, a representative of Buddhists and ‘Buddha-putra’ Bhanteji, Mahant H. H. Nyayanbas Baba, Mahant Santoshmuni Shastri Kapate from Mahanubhav Panth, Pujya Basavlinga Devaru from Lingayat community, Dayaram Basayye brothers from Arya Samaj. Com. Vilas Sonawane of Yuva Bharat Sanghatana, advocate Mr. Sudhir Chapalgaonkar and advocate Jayadev Shyamkunwar were the dignitaries attending the conference.
H. B. P. Prakash Maharaj Javanjal put up the resolution for opposing the Maharashtra Government proposed ‘Maharashtra Narbali, va Anya Amanaviya Anishta va Aghori Pratha va Jadutona yana Pratibandh va tyanche Samool Ucchatan Adhiniyam 2011 (Ban on human sacrifice, and other inhuman, improper and dreadful customs and black magic and their eradication Act 2011)’ i.e. Anti-Superstitions Act and it was seconded by H. B. P. Bandatatya Karadkar.
