Sangli: Warkaris oppose Anti-Superstitions Act

Sangli (Maharashtra): There are many clauses in the proposed Anti-Superstitions Act which will impose restrictions on following different customs and traditions of Hindu Dharma; therefore, we oppose this Act. A letter to the above effect was sent by the organization of Sangli District Warkari Sampradaya to the Chief Minister and Minister for Social Justice. A demand has been made in the letter that the Act attacking Hindus should not be passed. The letter has been signed by H. B. P. Ramakant Bongale Maharaj, the Founder of Warkari Sampradaya at Sangli, its President H. B. P. Raghunath Patil, its Chief Executive H. B. P. Bhkajirao Patil, Advisor H. B. P. Jitendra Joshi and Secretary H. B. P. Anandrao Patil. H. B. P. Bongale Maharaj said that awareness towards this anti-Hindu Act was being created in every program held by the organization.
