Bengaluru (Karnataka) : Shri. Kota Shrinivas Pujari, Secretary of ‘Hindu Dharmaday Vibhag’ informed that awareness was being created against naming Beer Bars after Hindus’ Deities. There is also view expressed on following ‘dress-code’ for visiting the temple though it was not possible to implement the same immediately; but necessary action would be taken for creating awareness for the same. Information and data on Devasthan’s wealth and other papers would be computerized in next 3 months. Memorandum was submitted to him on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) demanding that action should be taken for maintaining sanctity of temples taken over by the Government, so also people’s religious sentiments and faith when he gave the above information to activists of HJS.
