HJS and Hindu Samiti organised a lecture at Lonavala (Dist. Pune) for creating awareness among people towards the ‘Halal certification’ issue !
Pune : Presently, parallel economy is being created in form of ‘Halal’. It is a conspiracy of fanatics through ‘Halal’ certification as economic jihad. A lecture was jointly held on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Hindu Samiti on 1st March 2020 when Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, HJS -State Coordinator for Maharashtra and Chhattisgad explained the seriousness of ‘Halal’ economy. The participating businessmen then made a resolve to boycott all products with ‘Halal’ certification so also to create awareness on this matter amongst others.
The concept of ‘Halal’ is no longer limited to meat but it now includes variety of products such as cosmetics, grains, fruits, medicines etc. A businessman can pay Rs. 21500/- for every product for obtaining ‘Halal’ certification from a private Muslim organization called ‘Jamiyat Ulema-e- Hind’. Is there a need for such non-governmental fanatic organization when there is a separate Department of Government i.e. Food and Drugs Department? It should be opposed with unity, was the appeal made by Shri. Sunil Ghanavat.
Around 160 businessmen, including Shri. Sunil Gaikwad, Chief of ‘Hindu Samiti’, Shri. Dilip Gupta, President of Lonavala Traders’ Organization, Shri. Bharat Chikane, MNS- Chief for Lonavala, Shri. Anand Gawade, Principal, Shri. Jayesh Sancheti, Shri. Lalit Sisodiya, Shri. Mrugendra Bhide, Shri. Anish Ganatra of Hotel ‘Chandralok’ etc were present.
Hindu Samiti working for Hindus’ interests
Devout Hindu activists have set up ‘Hindu Samiti’ at Lonavala for taking care of Hindus’ interests. It is working for unification of Hindus irrespective of their castes and creeds, sects etc. A huge procession was taken out by this Samiti few months ago, in support of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Shri. Sunil Gaikwad and Shri. Jayesh Sancheti of ‘Hindu Samiti’ were contacted by HJS in connection with ‘Halal’ certification. Realizing the seriousness of the issue, they immediately fixed a meeting of 20 businessmen within few hours when it was decided to hold a lecture for all businessmen and traders so as to create awareness amongst them. Devout Hindu activists started spreading news about the meeting; along with taking help of social media. After the meeting held on 1st March 2020, it was decided to create awareness on this issue amongst maximum number of people.
