Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra) : If the proposed Anti-Superstitions Act is passed, it will be detrimental to many customs and traditions followed as per Hindu Dharma. All Sects should, therefore, unite and oppose before the Act is passed. The above views were expressed by Advocate Sudhakar Chapalgaonkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing devotees from Uttaradi Mutt and Raghavendra Swami Mutt from Mutt Madhav Sect. He explained in detail the pros and cons of this Act. The program was attended by 20 men and 20 women devotees who resolved to undertake signature drive and send their representation to the Chief Minister, Dy. Chief Minister and Minister for Social Justice. The program was attended by dignitaries like Acharya Vyasacharya, former Chief Engineer Mr. Narasapur, Mr. Ruggi etc. Acharya Shri. Vinayakacharyaji did compeering of the program. Copies of the said Bill were made available for the members of audience to examine.
