In front of the office of district commissioner – Chamarajnagar, HJS commenced the protest by 11.00 am. Addressing the people gathered to protest the draft bill, Mr. Chandra Moger from Bengaluru explained the points in the bill which are anti Hindu in fact. He added that the draft is with a mind set that communal disturbances are created only by Hindus and depicts that only minorities are victims in such riots.

Later an appeal and the papers of signature campaign were handed over to the Additional District Commissioner. In this huge protest people from Bajarang Dal also joined and some Students voluntarily took part in the protest.
Addressing the protesters Additional District Commissioner appreciated the efforts of HJS, which is spreading awareness regarding the draft bill. In his speech he accepted that because of this protest he came to know that the draft bill contains an anti Hindu strategy.
