Pathetic condition of temples in BJP-led State !

Davangere (Karnataka) : Hindu-haters damaged the idol of Lord Shanaishwar from the ‘Navagrah’ Temple on the backside of Durgambika Temple in Nittuvalli area. The incident occurred in the morning. (Like in other States led by Congress, in Karnataka also Hindus and seats of faith of Hindus are under attack although the Government is led by BJP and the State Government has failed in stopping such attacks. How can Hindus then have faith in such Government? – Editor SP)

The priest of the temple went there in the morning when he observed the damage caused to Lord Shanaishwar’s idol. He reported the matter to the Temple Committee. As local Hindus learnt about the incident, they started gathering near the temple in large numbers. Police were also informed about the incident. Hindus crowding near the temple made a demand with the police that persons involved in the wrong should be arrested and punished. Mr. H. P. Chandrashekharappa, the President of the Temple Committee said, “New idol will be installed tomorrow.”
