HJS drive to prevent abuse of National Flag

Tumkur (Karnataka): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has undertaken a drive to create awareness among the citizens towards paying respect to our National Flag and prevent its abuse. The drive will be undertaken to stop use of plastic national flags, avoid using the tri-colours for decoration etc., stop buying plastic flags, not to use plastic flags on the vehicles, management of schools and colleges not to encourage use of plastic  flags and stop throwing national flags on the road sides.

Mr. Chandra Moger, the district coordinator of HJS for Bengaluru district, its local members Mrs. Savita Venugopal, Nagratnamma, Siddhagangamma, Mr. Rajanna and Mr. Krushnamurthy called on additional District Commissioner of Tumkur, Mr. V. Dodappa and submitted a representation to him. He assured the HJS members that he would instruct the concerned officers for prevention of abuse of the National Flag.
