Hindus, always be alert ! No guarantee of anti-Hindu Government keeping its word !

Mumbai (Maharashtra) : The Press Trust of India (PTI) has published that it was quite unlikely that the Anti-Superstitions Act would get passed in the current monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly. An officer from the Ministry for Social Justice informed PTI, “Matter regarding carrying out amendments to the draft of the said Act is under consideration. We are discussing the issues related to the Act with different factions of the society. Warkaris are opposing clause 13 of the proposed Act. As per their contention, it would be an offence if any custom or tradition leads to physical and financial damage; therefore, the said clause is totally against Dharma. Warkaris are devotees of Lord Vitthal of Pandharpur. Thousands of Warkaris walk hundreds of miles during the ‘dindi’. Walking in the ‘dindi’ can also be an offence in terms of this clause. Warkari Sampradaya, is therefore, demanding omission of clause 13 from the Act; but if it is omitted, the very purpose of passing this Act will not be served.  We are, however, sure that we will be able to find some solution to this problem.”

Warkaris are against the whole Act ! – H. B. P. Waskar Maharaj

The Government officials are stating that Warkaris are against only clause 13 of the proposed Act. When the reporter of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ asked H. B. P. Vivekananda Maharaj Waskar, a senior leader of Warkari Sect about the Act, he said, “We are not against only clause 13 of the proposed Act but against all clauses of this Act. We have submitted a representation to the Government giving detailed information about how various clauses of this Act were detrimental to Dharma. The Dy. Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had shown approval for omission of clause 13 from the draft; but we told him that we were against all clauses. The Government has now set up a committee under my chairmanship known as ‘H. B. P. Waskar Maharaj Samiti’and meeting of this committee will be held once in every three months.”
