Representation submitted to District Collector and Superintendent of Police at Wardha
Wardha (Maharashtra) : A representation demanding legal action against those, who are manufacturing plastic National Flags, badges and other things; prevention of its abuse and paying due respect to the National Flag was submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the District Collector and Superintendent of Police.
The Flags, which are displayed with so much of respect in the morning of 15th August, are found strewn on the roads and in gutters in torn condition after flag hoisting. Despite ban on use of plastic national flags, Government’s apathy is resulting in open sale of plastic flags everywhere. These plastic flags are harmful for the environment and it takes long time for their suitable disposal. The Government should, therefore, properly implement the law in this respect and stop abuse of National Flags. The above demand has been made in the representation submitted by HJS in the presence of Mr. Kamal Kuldharia, city-President of BJP, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Parbat, Mr. Ahimsak Bhavate and HJS members viz. Mr. Rhushikesh Khalatkar, Mr. Tushar Deshmukh, Mr. Vivek Chaudhary, Mr. Jagadish Ingole, Mr. Aniket Bhole, Mr. Ramesh Chimurkar, Mr. Amit Dagwar, Miss Punam Manikpure and Mrs. Sunita Jamnare.
