In order to get this anti-Hindu Bill cancelled, spontaneous demonstrations were held at Shivaji Chowk here between 4 to 7 in the evening by Hindutvawadi Organisations and Political Parties coming together. This agitation was organised on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). About 350 proud Hindus were present there. This Bill intends to uproot Hindus completely, making the minorities’ complainant and the majority that is Hindus accused. The draft of this Bill is being prepared by anti-Hindu President of the National Security Advisory Committee, Sonia Gandhi along with so called secularists Tista Setalvad, Nazmi Vajari, Farah Naqvi, etc. Although the present Laws are quite adequate, this is a conspiracy to destroy the very existence of the Hindus. Warkari Sampraday, Jain Organisations, Sri Sampraday, Shikh Gurudwara, Sanatan Sanstha, Dharmasahkti Sena, Various Temple Trusts, representatives of Shivsena, BJP and other Organisations and political Parties from Panvel had participated in the agitation.
