Hindus should wake up against ‘Communal Violence Bill’ – Ramesh Shinde

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the States of Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat made an appeal to Hindus in a press conference held here that they should wake up against the ‘Communal and Targeted Violence Act, 2011’ proposed to be passed under the pretext of providing protection to minorities as the Act is, in fact, against existence of Hindus. The press conference held at Sree Plaza was also attended by H. B. P. Varsalekar Maharaj, Mr. Rajumama Bhole, the BJP municipal councilor from Jalgaon Municipal Corporation and Mr. Gajanan Malpure, the city-chief of Shiv Sena. 

Mr. Ramesh Shinde said, “HJS has been staging agitations all over the country for cancellation of the proposed anti-Hindu Act. All parties, Sects, Temple trusts, pro-Hindu organizations and devout Hindus are taking part in these agitations to register their protest. As per our Constitution, all laws are equally applicable to all citizens; but the proposed Act will create disparity between the minority and majority as the minority will get mild punishment for creating riots whereas the majority will be severely punished. The Act has been drafted by anti-Hindu and pro-minorities group of persons like Teesta Setalwad, Sayyad Shahabuddin, John Dayal and Asgar Ali Engineer. As such the Act will create a big partition between minorities and majority (Hindus). This Act can lead to minorities having control over the police causing problem for the welfare of the country and national integrity."
