What kind of secularism is adopted by the Government which spends 40 crores of rupees on Muslim criminals waiting for execution of death sentence ! – Mr. Ramesh Shinde, HJS

Dhule (Maharashtra): The Government is spending Rs. 40 crores on Mohammad Afzal and Kasab, the accused sentenced to death; whereas it spends only Rs. 9 crores on the families of the soldiers from armed forces who were killed in the firing of these accused. What kind of secularism is this?, asked Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat, angrily. He was addressing a gathering of pro-Hindu youth at Bhat Smruti Hall.

Mr. Shinde said further, “It has been 8 years since Afzal has been punished to death sentence; but the Government has no time to give effect to the death sentence. The Government employees got the money as recommended by the 6th Commission. Now at least, they should find time to take a decision on Afzal’s death sentence; else they should work overtime if required; but take a quick decision to hang him.”
